"Horrible Experience with MakeMyTrip"
I have been a loyal MakeMyTrip user for 4–5 years, booking all my travels through them. But after my recent experience, I am NEVER using this platform again!
I booked a hotel for my family in a remote hill station, with a late check-in between 9 PM and 10 PM. After booking, I tried calling the hotel using the contact number provided by MakeMyTrip, but no one answered for over an hour.
Desperate for assistance, I reached out to MakeMyTrip's customer support, but even they failed to contact the property. Sending my family—including women and children—to an unresponsive hotel at night was too risky, so I requested a cancellation. Instead of taking real action, MakeMyTrip just sent an email to the hotel. The hotel's response? "Why do they need to call? They can come directly."
MakeMyTrip's customer service is unprofessional, careless, and lacks basic decency. Instead of prioritizing safety, they told me to take the risk, travel to the hotel, and see if it was okay. What kind of service is this? Because of their negligence, I lost ₹10,000 in just one hour!
Avoid MakeMyTrip at all costs! They are useless in emergencies and will not help you when you need them the most. Don't trust them with your travel plans!
